Hey Jam, great stuff, as always...

👋🏾 MEET JAM GAMBLE👋🏼
A charismatic communicator and “Connecter of People, Ideas and Energy,”
Jahmeelah Gamble – affectionately known as Jam – is the ultimate #SlayerOfTheMic.
Dedicated to empowering others to own, honour, and amplify their unique expression, Jahmeelah is the Founder and CEO of the Slay The Mic Program – a transformative coaching initiative that inspires #FutureMicSlayers to unapologetically tap into their ultimate superpower:
their voice.
As a revered speaker, Jahmeelah can also be found teaching workshops, delivering keynotes at corporations, and seen on the popular Canadian talk show, “The Social,” as a recurring guest co-host. She has also successfully launched multiple sold-out Slay The Mic cohorts; helping others reconnect with their voice. A proud believer for boldly speaking things into existence, and encouraging others to fervently do the same, Jahmeelah has endured it all, and continues to dream in full colour.
With numerous accolades under her belt, Jahmeelah credits God and her gut as her two most trusted mentors, and the driving forces behind manifesting her dreams to continue championing for those around her.
As an inspiration to many, Jahmeelah went from the young girl who was encouraged to talk less, to the woman who built an inspirational career by finding power in owning her voice. Her unwavering devotion to the causes that move her continues to inspire the masses. By consistently staying true to herself, and with a clear vision always in mind, she has amassed a family of followers who utilize her relatable, community-based platform to step into their power, and activate their voice.
Whether effecting change to further women in business, holding a torch for those establishing their own personal brand, or finding and fostering the distinctive voices of fellow creatives (and humans in general!), Jahmeelah is here to create opportunities out of obstacles; because after all, everyone could use a little Jam in their life!
ACCIDENTAL TV HOST
Her background in special education and her love of sharing people’s stories to amplify led her to “accidentally” pitch her own television show, “A Voice for All” on Rogers TV.
FYI: it's definitely a story you want to ask her about!
What first began as a way to fulfill her 40-hour summer volunteer requirements, would soon spark a newfound passion for advocacy. Though Jahmeelah had no prior experience or interaction with individuals with disabilities, her time spent with the City of Brampton Special Needs Summer Camp would truly be life altering. The children and adults she worked with would have a profound impact on Jahmeelah, and how she would go on to view the concept of community, and the importance of lending one’s voice to championing causes aimed at equitable opportunities for all. In utilizing her natural flair for being compellingly vocal, Jahmeelah was yet again unknowingly preparing herself for a future where a community, at large, would benefit from her communicative skill set.
Upon graduating from college, Jahmeelah merged her exceptional communication skills with the knowledge she’d gained from her studies in Developmental Services. Without any previous background in the TV industry, but with a clear vision in mind, she was ready to take the world by storm. An undeniable visionary and strategist, Jahmeelah conceptualized, and later went on to produce and host a 30-minute weekly program, "A Voice For All;” a first of its kind on Rogers TV. What Jahmeelah had created was novel in its ability to hold space for the voices of parents, individuals with disabilities, and community groups. Over the course of six successful seasons, the popular show brought many impactful conversations to the fore, and aired a total of more than 50 episodes.

Truly loved Jam's energy but also her paying attention to the audience, calling out names to hear their perspectives. It felt super interactive and really appreciated this especially when every other conference out there is one-direction. This felt like an energy-boosting workshop!

PUBLIC SPEAKING COACH
Speaking in a room full of people, hosting an event, and leading a workshop comes naturally to Jam. Her gift of gab finally paid off and people were beginning to notice it.
One night after a keynote, an attendee came up to Jam and said, "You were on FIRE! I only wish I had that much confidence. How do you make it look so easy?!" At the time Jam didn't have an answer but at that moment knew she had to find a solution that would encourage people like that woman to feel more comfortable and confident about public speaking. Jam was already known as the 'Slayer of The Mic' and wanted others to 'Slay The Mic' too! It didn't matter if it was on a stage, in a boardroom, at school, or in their home, their voice deserved to be heard. And so, Slay The Mic Program was born. Through corporate training, various Slay The Mic Masterclass events, virtual learning, and private coaching, over 800 people have learned how to #SlayTheMic! Are you ready to transform your voice into your ultimate superpower? " YES, JAM! I'M READY TO #SLAYTHEMIC" |
